StartUpMusic.com Partners With AOL's Winamp and Spinner.com

Over 125 independent Record Labels to be available on the Largest Internet Music Service

LOS ANGELES, CA - StartUpMusic.com has partnered with America Online's Winamp and Spinner.com to expand StartUpMusic.com's distribution channel for over 125 independent record labels representing more than 650 artists.

Winamp and Spinner.com will enhance the suite of services that StartUpMusic.com currently offers to the independent record label community. StartUpMusic.com provides a music network for its Member Labels, distributing songs through high-traffic websites. Under terms of the deal, StartUpMusic.com will deliver digital songs from its 125+ Member Labels for download on the Winamp player and Spinner.com's new Playlist-To-Go feature.

"We are pleased to work with StartUpMusic.com, a leading representative of independent record labels," said Josh Felser, General Manager Winamp and Spinner.com. "This deal only reinforces our belief that Spinner.com and Winamp offer the most compelling and genre-rich music on the Web."

In addition to promotional and revenue-generating distribution of digital songs, StartUpMusic.com is offering a suite of b2b and b2c services to record labels, including dynamic websites, opt-in email lists, encoding services and more. The services are designed to save a label time and money, allowing them to concentrate on their core competency: the music.

"Our mandate at StartUpMusic.com is to provide our Member Labels with innovative visibility options for the marketing, promotion and sales of their music to the Internet community as well as through traditional outlets," said Jeffrey Weber, StartUpMusic.com VP of Business Development. "Working with AOL provides us with a dramatic extension of our labels' visibility, and in light of recent transactions, places the music of our member labels in a prime association with the broadest music and technology based company in existence."
