StartUpMusic.com Selected by The Music Company for Web Development
LOS ANGELES, CA - StartUpMusic.com, a record label services company,
has been retained by The Music Company to launch
themusiccom.com,
a destination site for its flagship artists - Goudie and Systematic.
The Music Company is owned by Lars Ulrich, drummer for hard rock
pioneer Metallica, and is distributed by Elektra Records.
themusiccom.com launches in the midst of critical and commercial acclaim
for its second release, "Peep Show" from Austin rockers Goudie, led by
charismatic frontman Johnny Goudie. StartUpMusic.com provided creative
direction, web construction and implementation, and will continue to
provide marketing and hosting support for the label. The site went
from conception to launch in under thirty days.
"StartUpMusic is proud to have worked with The Music Company to enhance
the visibility of Goudie and Systematic on the Internet," said Jeffrey
Weber, Executive Vice President, Business Development, StartUpMusic.com.
"We approach each of our clients and member labels on a one to one
basis. By evaluating a client's goals and their immediate marketing
and promotion needs, we then develop a personalized, focused, cost
effective strategy that ultimately provides increased opportunity for
the sale of music."
In addition to custom web development and implementation,
StartUpMusic.com is developing a suite of b2b and b2c services for
record labels, including dynamic websites, opt-in email lists,
digital and physical distribution and more. The services are
designed to save a label time and money, allowing them to concentrate
on their core competency - the music.
